Melting Crayons

If you’ve never tried this, you need to! There is so much scope for creativity in this project. Grab a canvas, some crayons and a hair dryer and have fun!

I’ve been itching to try this for months and one of my friends gave me the supplies to do it for my birthday! We had so much fun planing out what we were going to do.

Next time we hope to get two square canvases and each do half a heart of crayons on each one!

I’ve also learned to call the colored wax coloring instruments “CRAY-ONS”! 🙂

I found this idea on the internet when looking for crafts to do when Awesomesitting (a.k.a. babysitting for older children).

All you need is Michael’s $1 frames, paper, paint, Mod Podge, brushes/scissors, sand paper, and a good attitude! It really was quite easy.. the second time through (once my sister gave me sand-papering lessons!)

I am so excited with how mine turned out!

Here is the helpful tutorial I followed:

Enjoy =)
